Payroll HighlightsThe start of a new year brings with it new payroll information and income tax forms to prepare and distribute. Axon is set up to help you perform these tasks quickly and easily. Automatic payroll updates Axon automatically updates the federal payroll deduction information. They also update the withholding tax information for all the states where it is required and the provincial income tax information for every province (except Quebec). Benefits Benefits are not all the same. Some benefits are taxable and some aren't and American customers will want to deduct some benefits from earnings and wages before calculating the amount of the benefit. Axon's software automatically enters the standard benefits and deductions and then provides an easy-to-use screen to allow you to fill in the details. You can quickly record which ones are taxable and which ones should be deducted from the wage base. Axon will then do the calculations for you when you generate your payroll. Taxes You can print your annual employee statements of wages and taxes (W2 and W3 forms in the United States, T4 and T4A forms in Canada) straight from the Axon software. Axon's software will compile and sort all the necessary information and print it directly onto the pre-printed government forms. US customers can also print their quarterly 941 report of income tax and FICA withholdings directly from the Payroll module.
